Hello, Thanks for your interest in The Myrtles. We will be amping up band activity in the coming year, so check this site for news, and be sure to join the mailing list. Currently we're going through the approximately 40 songs we've recorded over the past couple of years and assembling another record. My vote for the title goes to "Whenever...," which is certainly tongue and cheek regarding the release date. Hey, this is personal music for us, and it's done at a personal pace. I doubt it will be a quadruple disc set, because the current trend in the biz seems to focus on two songs that get sold through download services. Then again, The Myrtles don't have much to do with trends... Look for Casey playing around the country in The New Orleans Bingo Show and with the New Orleans Preservation Hall All-Stars, and also with Harlan. John B. can also be seen playing bass for Harlan and, occaisonally, The Junior League. Lee can also be seen fronting his indie rock band, 2CV, and sometimes playing with the Junior League.
